The Chihuhua WINS!!!

I decided the best way to get a WOW out of Ellen was to ask all of you, which painting was your favorite. I gave 5 choices... and the winner is (drum roll please) the CHIHUAHUA!!!

I have decided the best way to grow my business is to be on Ellen DeGeneres.

 I thought about sending her a painting of one of her pets, but then I realized her passion is the charity, The Gentle Barn. So I have painted a yellow lab (the number one most common doggie in America).

Next week, I will mail Ellen the painting to auction off for The Gentle Barn.  And, hopefully (fingers crossed), I will be invited to meet Ellen on her show next season. :)

A New Challenge

I have decided to take on a new challenge. I have never considered myself an artist of the written word...just the painted picture :) So My challenge is to not only create a new painting every week, but also to write about it...and (deep breaths please) blog it!
